Favorite television shows:

Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I think we've seen all the episodes. Our library system has the first four season's shows on DVD and we've watched all those. I've even made a Vampire Slayer Crossbow, as seen in early buffy episodes. It's the small, one-hand pistol type, with wooden "bolts" or arrows. It has a 50 pound pull and really flings its bolts! If you want one too, I have another one available for $35 plus shipping.

Favorite restaurants:

Chilito's Taqueria (Mexican Food)
3575 Bayshore Drive
Naples FL 34112
(239) 775-6480

Great, authentic food, friendly local owners.

 Favorite books:

Laurell K. Hamilton's Vampire Executioner (Anita Blake) series, such as Laughing Corpse, Guilty Pleasures, Killing Dance, Bloody Bones, Circus of the Damned, Blue Moon, Narcissus in Chains, Burnt Offerings, Obsidian Butterfly, Cerulean Sins. Also her Merry Gentry series, including Kiss of Shadows, Caress of Twilight, Seduced by Moonlight.

"Why Things Break - understanding the world by the way it comes apart" by Mark E. Eberhart. Quantum physics for the layman, and fun to read. Learn things like why it feels colder in Boston at 15 degrees than it does in Denver at the same temperature. How Corelleware and unbreakable glass are made and how they work. Making stone tools like pre-historic man did. And more!

Greg Bear's science fiction books, especially "Darwin's Radio."

Favorite lies:

Because of rampant rumors, an employee asked Johnson Controls company if they were moving to Mexico. They said no, absolutely not. So she felt confident and bought a house, A week later, on March 29, 2004, announced it's laying off 800 workers and moving to Mexico. She was crying on the news broadcast interview.

 Favorite SPAM

Here's text from the "source" of one of my favorite kinds of SPAM. Notice the stuff I've highlighted in bold text. Notice that you can't even reply to the sender! And the sender's name that shows in the email reader screen isn't the address it came from, or the address to reply to. And there's so many scary spam-avoidance stories that I wouldn't want to anyway. The "remove you from our list" is usually referred to as their way of validating your email address and responding to that link apparently gets you on even more SPAM lists!
