He was President of Future Farmers of America and won his first judging competition at Michigan State University in 1962.

With a lifetime of farming experience having raised Champion Shorthorn, Hereford and Highland Cattle for many years. Attended the University of Maryland, Ferris State University and Michigan State University in agricultural studies. He is Certified as an Artificial Inseminator for bovine and equine. Technician and is on the World Council of Judges.

Being a Registered Laboratory Animal Technologist through the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science (AALAS).  She was the two-time President of the Michigan Branch for the American Association for Laboratory Animal Science.

Educated in Great Britain; attending Hitchen University, in the (U. K), and Ferris State University in the USA.

She is the Retired Manager of the Animal Care Facility at Ferris State University. Some of her duties included teaching undergraduate biotechnology and Forensic Science students. She performed studies involving genetic and cancer research. Worked with the Armed Forced developing a team to perfect doctors with surgical procedures before going to Iran and Iraq. She is also Certified as an Artificial Insemination Technician for bovine and equine.

Having judged cattle since the age of 17, Glenn has plenty of experience, even at the International level. Most recently:
1999- Geelong, Australia -- he Judged:  Highlands , Angus, Dexter, Murray Grey, also judged the junior handlers.

1996- Sweden's National 20th Anniversary Highland Cattle Show.

2006-2008-2009- Conformation judge for the Quebec Highland Cattle Association Bull Test in Canada.
