The first three Unit tests will be designed to check the students' recall of the content in chapters one through nine. The fourth Unit test checks student understanding of a subject matter chapter of choice. Subject matter chapters are those numbered 10....15. Each student selects the chapter they choose to study. The text authors' companion web site features a practice test for each chapter...

By taking the practice test each week, weeks one through nine (all), and a chapter of choice from chapters 10....15, students earn five points for each test and a possible total of fifty points. The points are granted for completing the test regardless of the score. The tests must be completed on time - by Friday of that week. The test is submitted to the professor's email box (instructions during week one). A score of zero will be recorded each week a test is not submitted.
With the exception of Unit Test Four, a unit test covers three chapters. By trying the practice tests, students can better anticipate what will be covered and what type of question will be used.
