ASSIGNMENT SHEET

DUTY: MarcoPolo Partner Web Link Teams

Task Statement: Each Partner Web Link Team will organize and conduct a demonstration of one of the Collaborative Partner web sites where the remaining students role play as Middle/High school students.

Criteria:

Using the descriptions in the publication "MarcoPolo Internet Content for your Classroom: A Teacher's Guide to Finding and Using the Best of the Net", each team will plan and conduct a twenty minute demonstration to familiarize their classmates with one Partner Web Site.

The following components must be included:

Orientation using a Powerpoint presentation

• How to get to the site
• The site Home Page
• How to Navigate in the site
• Clear explanation of how the site materials are tied to national standards
• Other Web Links suggested by the site

Conduct a short Sample interactive Lesson found on the site where each student is using the Internet.

-Duplicate suggested student Instruction Sheets for distribution if needed

Each member of the Team must take responsibility for an aspect of the planning and then again for some part of the demonstration.
